Welcome to Nursery

Welcome to our Nursery blog, below are some pictures of the activities the children have been taking part in over the past few weeks.

We investigated how materials change when heated and cooled. We made jelly, popcorn, honeycomb and toast.

We enjoyed using our senses to explore lots of different materials on our 'Messy Morning'.

We learn't about the letter 's' sound . We formed 's' using finger paints, salt and brushes.

Look what we have been up to in Nursery

                                                         We got creative outside.

We went on a walk to look for signs of Summer.

We made a town for our vehicles in the tuff tray.

We went on a minibeast hunt in our garden. Look what we found!

We learnt all about snails and made some from clay.

Look at our pictures of us willow weaving.

Busy Bees in Reception

We had fun playing with the musical instruments. We learnt how to tap a beat and we made lots of noise.

We investigated what happened to the speed of a car when the ramp got higher and higher. We found out it got faster and faster. It was great fun.

We had a mini circuit session for our PE lesson this week. Everyone was involved and we had super bouncers, whizzers at hula hooping, fast skippers, steady egg and spooners and some budding catchers. We were worn out!
