It's summer time in Reception

Welcome back everyone. We have had a great start to our new topic The Beach. We have looked at features of the beach and found out where there are lovely beaches in Wales

Beth sy yn y basged?

We felt and smelt fish

We touched wet seaweed

 

We touched dry seaweed

 

We are really enjoying our role play area The Beach Shop.

In PE we are learning skills in hockey and really enjoyed ourselves.

 

 

 

 

 

In maths we have been learning how to tell the time concentrating on o'clock, lots of adding and number work and in English we have been working hard in handwriting, thinking of wow words and spelling work.
